ABC review pack Pages 4 & 5 - These cards are for number recognition. Use counters, pom poms, marshmallows, even cars and place items in the circle to help learn numbers. Page 6 - a simple 5 strip puzzle. It may be easier to laminate and add magnets to the back. These will help the puzzle pieces stay in place. Page 7 - roll and cover game. Have child roll a die and cover the number rolled with pom poms or cars. Page 8 - 2 part puzzles, again this may be simpler if they are laminated and magnetic. Page 9 - clothes pin cards. Using clothespin, have child identify the correct answer and pin the clothespin over it. Pages 10 thru 12 - play dough mats to practice letters. Page 13 is an easy alpha strip puzzle. Laminate and add magnets to make it less stressful. Page 14 thru16 - give child a magnifying glass and have him find the letters in the picture. Page 17 - is a smaller version of the magnifying page to save ink and paper. Page 18 - letter writing practice cards. Page 19 - missing letter practice. Use letter magnets or letter clothespins and have child determine the missing letter. Page 20 - this can be a matching game used several ways. (1) match vehicle to vehicle, (2) match vehicle to letter, and (3) match both vehicles to the letter. Page 21 to 22 - another smaller card matching game. I would use these in my sensory bin. Have child find the cards in the rice/noodles and match to the alpha board. Or use them for a bingo type of game. The possibilities are endless. Page 23 - milk lid labels. These would be attached to milk jug lids and used for a review game. These will be added to as more review packs are made and you will have a complete set of abc lids to review. Page 24 - sight word practice cards. These can be used with wikki sticks, play dough, or simple tracing. It is recommended to laminate for durability. 3
Page 25 - where is the traffic cone game? This game can used in a table pocket chart or just by laying the cards on the table. Place the traffic cone under one of the word cards and have the child read the words to clear the board and find the cone. Pages 26 thru 28 - roll and graph. Make the cube and have the child roll it. Then the child can either color in the correct space in the graph or trace the items. Pages 29 thru 30 - an easier version of the roll and graph with pictures and letters. Pages 31 thru 33 - are review games. You can use markers to cover the words/letters the child has read. Page 34 thru 35 - just for fun, pin the wheels and cross on the ambulance.
